KCNA reported that several residential buildings, including an 80-story building and other infrastructure and public services, were also opened on Jonwi Street.
The country’s top leader stressed that the brand-new buildings, located in the Sopho area, had been constructed by young people in just one year.
Ri Il-hwan, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), delivered the opening speech and pointed out that the avenue and the architectural complex reflect the State’s and Comrade Kim’s concern for the people’s welfare.
