The interview will also be available on the professor’s social media and the Presidency of the Republic website. Ramonet described on Tuesday the meeting with Diaz-Canel as “an interesting conversation, also in an extremely pleasant, beautiful, and Cuban atmosphere.”
In statements to national television, the journalist and writer emphasized that during the dialogue, the head of State freely addressed, with great sincerity, all kinds of domestic and international concerns.
He pointed out that this experience as an interviewer and journalist was delightful, and said that several international publications have asked to reproduce it.
“I believe that (Díaz-Canel) is a leader who is increasingly confirmed in the Latin American context, increasingly known at the international level,” Ramonet said.
