In an interview with Prensa Latina, Fernando Liu, president of Huawei Cloud for that region, underlined its intention to continue growing in the area with more local companies that will enable progress in digital transformation.

“We distinguish ourselves by applying artificial intelligence in the local market, which will help Latin American customers to shorten the digital gap compared to other markets,” he said.

From Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Chile, Huawei’s cloud success stories enable companies in those nations to reduce costs, expand and improve their data security, the executive said.

Liu emphasized the Chinese company’s commitment to provide stable, reliable and secure cloud tools to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in various industries.
