The spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce, He Yadong, reiterated the opposition to this kind of measure ‘without international legal grounds and without authorization from the United Nations Security Council.’
He added that these actions constitute ‘a typical act of unilateral intimidation and economic coercion,’ while urging Washington to stop its crackdown on Chinese companies.
He Yadong said Beijing will take countermeasures to protect the rights and interests of its companies.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry has repeatedly rejected the US Government’s practice of interfering in other countries’ sovereignty.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the right to conduct normal economic and trade exchanges with Russia cannot be infringed.
