Perez added that the island’s cocktails are respected globally, and proposed to the members of his non-governmental organization (NGO) to follow the improvement plans.
A press release issued on Tuesday said that such statements appeared in the summary of the 19th edition of the Fabio Delgado In Memoriam National Competition in the western province of Artemisa.
The competition took place over the weekend at the Casa de la Musica of that region, where the director urged to continue to raise the rigour of the studies of the young members who attend the competitions.
He pointed out that the calls for each competition are governed by the legislation and statutes implemented and approved by the International Bartenders Association (IBA) and that they are very strong.
For this reason, the executive pointed out, in order to maintain the international quality of the highly respected Cuban bartending, they need to have well-trained, competent professionals who are as comprehensive as possible.
