A Foreign Ministry statement recalls that the attacks over civilian population are a serious violation of the international humanitarian law.

Israeli forces took control of the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing and blocked the movement of people and the flow of humanitarian assistance into this enclave, which has served as a refuge for those displaced by Tel Aviv’s bombings and ground attacks since last October.

The Chilean government called for an immediate ceasefire and for an agreement that would put an end to the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza, hostages and families.
