The text pointed out that during the elections, the President of the Republic, deputies to the National Assembly, the Central American Parliament, mayors and councilmen were elected.
The Bolivarian Republic extended its good wishes to President-elect José Raúl Mulino and wished him ‘wisdom in his decision making’.
It expressed its willingness to maintain a constructive bilateral relationship within the framework of understanding, peaceful coexistence and mutual respect, as Bolivarian peoples, always for the benefit of both nations.
Mulino was the winner in Sunday’s elections when almost 90 percent of the votes were counted and he accumulated 679,754 ballots in his favor, according to the Electoral Court.
