The event, which will take place from May 20 to 24, will become “a unique opportunity for discussion with technologists, specialists, researchers, academics and technicians about the latest trends in production and process regulations”, says the BioCen official website.

The Meliá Habana Hotel will be the venue and participants will be able to debate topics that respond to innovation in high-tech companies, globalization in today’s world and the synergistic complexity between biotechnology and health.

“During this edition, two workshops will be held with the intention of sharing, exchanging and exploring new trends and challenges both on the topic of aseptic processing in the biopharmaceutical industry,” the call states.

They will also talk about quality control of supplements, nutraceuticals and functional foods.

On the X account of the National Center for Biopreparations of Cuba, the organizers announced the pre-event course on Probiotics, led by Professor Raúl Cano, president of the American company EDC BioSynergy.

The representative of said company that designs and develops probiotic products, carries out clinical safety and efficacy studies and prepares regulatory documents, will give his conference on Tuesday, May 21 at the Meliá Habana Hotel.
