Meanwhile, some 165,000 people have been displaced, 125 have been injured, and 90 others remain missing.
The torrential rains have already caused significant flooding, and 27,500 victims were sheltered in 115 camps.
The Government has also instructed all residents in danger areas to leave immediately within the next 24 hours before a mandatory evacuation is implemented.
Meanwhile, the Kenya Meteorological Department informed that heavy rains will continue this month, which could worsen the flooding and river overflows.
