The MoU, subscribed Murmu and Nepal’s Auditor General Toyama Raya, will promote capacity development efforts and help improve methodologies in the public sector audit, according to the Indian Embassy.

As part of his visit to Nepal, Murmu met with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Finance Minister Barshaman Pun, and his counterpart Raya on Thursday, the diplomatic source confirmed.
During the meeting with the head of the Nepalese Government, the Indian comptroller and auditor general informed him of the ongoing cooperation between the two countries’ supreme audit institutions and the memorandum of understanding signed.
