According to a piece of information published in Juventud Rebelde newspaper, the rally will take place this Friday at 5:00 p.m. (local time) at the stairs of the University of Havana. Students from other countries who are studying here have also been invited.
The Cuban university students have also invited “workers and all good people who feel sensitized and who cannot bear another minute of Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip” to this rally.
The organizers of this gathering have also invited young people from other nations, who are in Cuba as part of the May Day activities, to make statements in favor of the said causes, the Cuban youth newspaper added.
They will raise their voices “vigorously in favor of the noble cause of the Palestinian people and against the police repression to which US students are being subjected,” FEU president at the University of Havana, José Alberto Almeida, said.
