The head of Cuban diplomacy pointed out that 90 of Palestinians live below the poverty line, along with 37 million tons of debris from the bombings. He added that these figures are “cruel evidence of Israel’s genocide against Palestine.”
On Thursday, at a Solidarity Meeting with Cuba, President Miguel Díaz-Canel demanded the immediate membership of the State of Palestine as a full-fledged member of the United Nations.
Díaz-Canel stressed that nothing can justify Israel’s brutal escalation of the last six months, the serious violations of international law, and the crimes that have turned a strip of inhabited land into bloody training camps.

Díaz-Canel recalled that Cuba has always express its solidarity with the Palestinian cause and currently hundreds of students from that Arab country are studying in Cuba.
