In a message posted on the X, González praised the strong ties that unite ICAP with the Chinese organization.

He expressed satisfaction with the progress of bilateral solidarity relations, “of mutual understanding, including the respective friendship associations, which with their permanent actions make the ties between our peoples stronger.”

The Hero of the Republic also thanked the Friendship Association for its decision to host the Regional Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba in its tenth edition this year.

He stressed that holding this event in the People’s Republic of China, for the first time, will be a highly significant forum for both nations to continue to strengthen relations with friendship organizations in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as with parliaments and other friendly institutions.

At the end of his message, González highlighted the seven decades of solidarity and creative work of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and reiterated his congratulations. jg/rgh/mks
