The directors of such an initiative said that the meetings aim to dignify traditional elements, as Bayamanaco is an aboriginal voice to designate God of Smoke in the Taino culture.
The group’s monthly meetings bring together dozens of service professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, sommeliers, Habano sommeliers, bartenders, cigar rollers, chefs, Cuban journalists, and some foreign fans.
The latest edition took place at the Mojito-Mojito Restaurant-Bar in Havana, where participants enjoyed Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Corona and Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2 Robusto cigars, paired with rums from La Guantanamera, Santa Cruz del Norte, Pisco Malpaso, and La Occidental.
