The official Palestinian spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeina, affirmed that without the support of Joe Biden’s administration, the war launched by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would have already ended.
Without Washington’s support, Netanyahu would not have dared to defy the international community, he stressed. Rudeina accused the White House of protecting Israel, which, he said, makes that country “complicit with Netanyahu in his crimes that took the lives of thousands of our people.”
The United States bears full responsibility for the continuation of the crimes of genocide in Gaza, he stressed.
In light of this situation, the spokesman called on Biden to rectify and force the Israeli government to end its attacks.
Last week, the Palestinian official also held Washington responsible for the escalation of violence in the occupied territories, which includes assassinations, displacement and land theft.
Military, financial and diplomatic support make the northern power a partner in the war of extermination launched by Netanyahu, he warned at the time.
A few days ago, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced that his government will reconsider its relations with the United States following Washington’s new veto in the UN Security Council, which he described as shameful, irresponsible and unjustified.
