In this regard, the Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, and Nyambaatar Khishgee, governor and mayor of Ulaanbaatar, agreed on the mutual interest of linking both nations through collaboration in health, tourism, and biotechnology, the Cuban diplomatic mission informed here.
In the presence of B. Solongo, head of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, B.Amirlan, chief official and Tuguldur Gun-Uils, specialist of that Department of the Governor’s Office, Ferrer and Khishgee also talked about the School number 52 of the Mongolian capital that bears the name of the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí. At the meeting, the mayor-governor presented the development policies of Ulaanbaatar to turn it into an intelligent city, oriented to ecological development, friendly to citizens, with a healthy, safe, well-governed, and economically viable business environment.
Meanwhile, the Cuban diplomat thanked Khishgee for his contribution, during his mandate as Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs of Mongolia, in conclusion of two agreements on mutual legal assistance, signed in Havana last March.
