The head of Argentine diplomacy met in this capital with Vice President Han Zheng, who highlighted the tenth anniversary of the bilateral Strategic Partnership.
“The development of China-Argentina relations is in line with the long-term interests of both countries and is a shared desire of the two nations,” the senior official said. The Argentine foreign minister assured that cooperation with Beijing is significant to Buenos Aires, and her country has a positive view of China’s development.
Mondino also talked with the International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce, and the head of the People’s Bank of China.
As part of her agenda, the diplomat will meet with her Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, and with Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, Zhao Chenxin.
She will also participate in the Argentina-China Forum on Infrastructure Investment for Development.
Mondino’s visit to this country coincides with the official visits of the foreign ministers of Bolivia and Peru.
