On the other hand, representatives of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC, in Spanish) recently participated in the opening of the Seminar on Media Cooperation among the political formations of the world in Beijing.

Within the framework of this event, Liudmila Alamo, deputy head of the PCC Ideological Department, highlighted the excellent exchange and debate at China’s Center for the Development of International Communication.

“Topics on the advances in the application of innovation as a tool for political communication were addressed,” she wrote in X.

The party leader met here with CCP authorities, including Liu Jianchao, head of the International Liaison Department, and Hu Zhaoming, director general of the Information and Communication Bureau of the International Department.

The CPC and PCC expressed their willingness to improve inter-party cooperation and exchanged on the challenges and opportunities presented by the different political forces in communication work.

Alamo also visited Henan province where she talked to the secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Luo Yangsheng.

According to official sources, both discussed local political communication strategies aimed at serving the interests of both nations.

The Communist Parties of China and Cuba maintain a special relationship of friendship which is also evidenced by excellent governmental ties.

Chinese President and General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Xi Jinping, has referred to both countries as “good friends, good partners and good brothers”.
