A total of 66 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the territory of Krasnodar and two more, over the Republic of Crimea, the military portfolio reported on its official Telegram site, while calling these attacks “terrorist”.
Earlier on Saturday, Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratiev posted on social media that a dozen drones were shot down in Slaviansky, Seversky, and Kuschevsky districts while attempting to attack oil refineries and infrastructure.
According to the authority, there were no casualties or major damage from the falling wreckage of the UAVs.
Meanwhile, the head of the Slavianski district, Roman Siniagovsky, reported that a fracking column at the refinery in the Kuban city of Slaviansk was damaged in the attack, nevertheless, emergency services have already extinguished the fire that broke out. jrr/ro/gfa
