During an interview granted to Skai TV, he assured that from the beginning they declined the delivery of weapon systems considered fundamental for their own deterrent capabilities.

According to the Prime Minister, they have a surplus of supplies that they can give to Ukraine, but these defense mechanisms are key for the protection of Greek airspace.

Last Monday, the European country’s government spokesman, Pavlos Marinakis, indicated that Athens will not take any measures to put its own security at risk, during a debate within the EU on the supply of these techniques.
