The two delegations exchanged views on developments in disarmament and non-proliferation in the nuclear, chemical, and biological spheres, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs stated in a brief text.
They also assessed aspects, including space security, non-proliferation issues, conventional weapons, and export control.
The delegations to this round were led by Muanpuii Saiawi, Joint Secretary for Disarmament and International Security at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, and Katsuro Kitagawa, Director General for Disarmament, Non-proliferation and Science Department at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
