Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Peru will attend OECD meeting

Lima, Apr 24 (Prensa Latina) Peruvian Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzén and Foreign Minister Javier González-Olaechea will attend a meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in France, it was officially announced today.

The Peruvian representatives, according to the supreme resolution that authorizes the trip, will participate as guests at the aforementioned event, to be held on May 2 and 3.

The authorization adds that the participation of the Prime Minister and the head of Foreign Affairs in the meeting will allow the Government to reaffirm its commitment to the process of joining the OECD.

González Olaechea will be received earlier, on the 26th, by the Secretary General of the OECD, Mathias Cormann, and has scheduled meetings with the staff of the Peruvian embassy in France and with the representation of his country in the United Nations Organization to Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO), based in Paris.
