According to a statement, the DGI will soon be submitting the requests for authorization to the Administrative Tax Court, for the subsequent delivery to the Prosecutor’s Office of the respective complaints.
The message indicates that these processes are closely related to forgeries in real estate purchase and sale declarations, simulations that seek to evade the payment of dividends, withholdings of the Tax on the Transfer of Movable Goods and Services, as well as irregularities in the declarations and undeclared profits.
With those actions, the entity in charge of the administration and collection of taxes, DGI indicated that Panama reaffirms its commitment to the fight against tax evasion and money laundering.
