The Euskadi-Cuba solidarity association said on Tuesday that the event will be called “Gora Kuba Burujabe!” and “will be a cry of denunciation of the economic, financial and commercial blockade that the Government of the United States has imposed on Cuba, aggravated by more than 200 additional sanctions.

It added that the US siege against Cuba brings “clear consequences in terms of food, medicine and fuel shortages, as well as a strong migratory wave, and the main victims are Cuban women.”

Together with the Euskadi-Cuba group, the event will be organized by the organizations of Cuban emigres Sierra Maestra-Euskadi and Desembarco del Granma, with the support of the Hernani City Council and Hernaniko Kooperazio Taldea.
