This performance event, which will open its doors to middle and high school students, is dedicated precisely to the memory of one of the greatest educators of all times in Cuban culture.
One of the opportunities for the young generations will be the lecture ‘Imprint of the Cuban School of Ballet in the training of the dancer,’ by researcher Miguel Cabrera. The venue of this theoretical section will be the Vicentina de la Torre Academy, named after the founder in 1967 of the Ballet of Camagüey, and where the dance students will meet.
On the first day of the event on April 25, the Plaza Hotel will host a panel on the subject, at which experts will share viewpoints on ‘Fernando Alonso, transcendence and legacy in the Ballet of Camagüey.’
