Commenting on the Iranian operation in retaliation for the Israeli attack against the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the Lebanese deputy highlighted that the action of the Islamic Republic preserves the capacity of the Axis of Resistance in fighting the occupants.

Raad assured that after almost seven months the Israeli enemy is drowning in failure before the firm people in Gaza and the heroes of the Resistance, and highlighted the courage, capacity, and strategic and tactical creativity of the combatants in responding to the brutality of Israel.

According to the authority, Israel is trying to compensate for its losses resulting from the intensification of pressure exerted by the front in Lebanon and the Resistance inside Gaza outside the main theater of operations, which is why it resorts to bombing Baalbek, Syria and elsewhere.

Raad indicated that after attacking several Iranian military advisors in Syria, Tel Aviv felt it could confront the Islamic Republic; the attack on the consulate in Damascus crossed all red lines. “They were betting that Iran would let this aggression pass, but the Iranian leadership decided to respond and exposed the change in the deterrence strategy to put an end to the aggressive policy of Israel and its Western allies in the region,” he stressed.
