According to the Foreign Ministry’s X profile, the entire repatriation operation is taking place in a safe manner and without any incidences, and more information will be provided about its development until its conclusion.

So far, 192 Cubans have returned home in an operation coordinated by Cuban authorities.

The first phase of the transfer was carried out in several buses from Port-au-Prince to Cap Haitien, in northern Haiti, on April 19, in a procedure that required a careful and continuous analysis of the right moment to organize it, according to Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel.
