The announcement was made the deputy director of the Ideological Department of the PCC Central Committee, Liudmila Álamo, on her personal X profile.

Cuba’s participation is taking place one year after a visit to China by a PCC delegation headed by the Political Bureau member and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee, Roberto Morales.

At the time, the party leader highlighted the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation with the Communist Party of China (CCP) and described his days here as fruitful and beneficial to strengthen bilateral ties.

Morales thanked the CCP for its continued expressions of appreciation and support for Cuba.

The Chinese president and general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Xi Jinping, has referred to the two countries as “good friends, good companions and good brothers.”

Recently, the Chinese Foreign Ministry underscored the special friendship between both nations and ratified the country’s support for Cuban authorities in their efforts to improve the people’s living conditions.
