The opening ceremony took place on Thursday during the visit to Ukraine of Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economics and Climate Protection of the Federal Republic of Germany Robert Habeck.
According to the text Quantum-Systems, a company established in 2015 and headquartered in Munich, will invest up to six million euros in production facilities in Ukraine over the next two years and until the end of the year, about 100 employees will work at the plant.
Currently, a service center of that company is operating in Ukraine, mainly responsible for the training of specialists, UAV maintenance and logistics.
According to official information, the German manufacturer has been supplying Vector drones to Kiev since May 2022, and so far 212 such systems have been delivered and more than 500 are scheduled to be delivered by the end of the year.
The Ukrainian publication Economic Truth reported that the Vector drone can take off and land vertically, has a silent engine and encrypted IP communication that transmits a video stream.

Fabricante alemán de drones inaugura planta de producción en Ucrania
Berlín, 19 abr (Prensa Latina) El fabricante alemán de drones Quantum-Systems GmbH inauguró una planta de producción y un centro de desarrollo en Ucrania, informa hoy un comunicado de prensa publicado en la página web de la empresa.
La ceremonia de apertura aconteció este jueves durante la visita a Ucrania del vicecanciller y ministro de Economía y Protección del Clima de la República Federal de Alemania, Robert Habeck.
Según el texto Quantum-Systems, empresa creada en 2015 y con sede en Múnich, invertirá hasta seis millones de euros en instalaciones de producción en Ucrania durante los próximos dos años y hasta finales de año, unos 100 empleados trabajarán en la planta.
Actualmente, en Ucrania funciona un centro de servicios de esa compañía encargado, sobre todo, de la formación de especialistas, el mantenimiento de vehículos aéreos no tripulados y la logística.
De acuerdo con informaciones oficiales, el fabricante alemán suministra drones Vector a Kiev desde mayo de 2022, y hasta la fecha entregaron 212 sistemas de este tipo y está previsto el envío de más de 500 a finales de año.
La publicación ucraniana Economic Truth refirió que el dron Vector puede despegar y aterrizar verticalmente, tiene un motor silencioso y comunicación IP encriptada que transmite una secuencia de video.
