All five villages are located on the right bank of the Ishim River, whose level reached 7.50 meters at noon on Friday, swelling 60 centimeters in four hours.

The constant increase in the water level activated the security protocols, since the river begins to overflow in the lower areas when it reached 8.5 meters, the critical level.

The regional government indicated that six town in four districts were cut off by the floods, and added that teams from the Ministry of Emergencies are taking food and medicines by boat to the residents of those villages. jg/jav/mem/gfa
