In a message on his X profile, the head of State noted that all the hypocrisy and cynicism of US policy were exposed, once again, at the UN Security Council, which was unable to by the vote of the empire, to confront and solve the most serious international conflicts.
The United States vetoed a draft resolution that would allow Palestine to become a permanent member of the UN.
The Security Council’s voting, proposed by Algeria on behalf of the Arab group, was held on Thursday: 12 countries voted in favor, two (the United Kingdom and Switzerland) abstained, and Washington voted against.
