In a videoconference, executives of the Entrepreneurial Group for Biopharmaceutical and Chemical Productions, LABIOFAM S.A., and the Mongolian Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry also exchanged some of the flagship products produced by the Cuban company, the Havana representation in Ulaanbaatar informed.
Mongolian Vice Minister of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry, Gankhuleg Munguntsog, LABIOFAM First Vice President Leandro Licea, and Cuban Ambassador Jorge Ferrer attended the meeting.
Videos of scientific activities, modern industries, and LABIOFAM’s results in producing vaccines for livestock, biofertilizers, biostimulants, and biopesticides for agriculture were shown during the meeting, diplomatic source detailed.
According to the diplomatic source, LABIOFAM also presented Biorat, a product to kill rodents, one of the problems of livestock pastures in Mongolia.
Such a product, developed 39 years ago, is registered in more than 23 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia, such as Vietnam, Laos, the Philippines, and China.
