With this agreement, signed during the first session of the Joint Cooperation Commission, both sides opened new perspectives in their relations, while agreeing on working through diplomatic channels to establish a schedule of regular working meetings.
The signing of the Verbal Process was entrusted to the Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs Tete Antonio, and the Ivorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Ivorians Abroad Leon Kacou Adom.
The document, with binding character, is the result of talks between the ministerial delegations, during which issues of the political, diplomatic, economic, business and reciprocal and mutually advantageous investments forums were analyzed, according to a press release from the Angolan Foreign Ministry.
The two countries aim at resuming and giving new impetus to political-diplomatic relations, with a view to producing beneficial results in the short, medium and long term, mainly in areas such as tourism, agriculture, justice and human rights and telecommunications.
