By shouting “incapable mayor out of La Paz” and “we are in the street because of the mayor,” hundreds of workers from eight union groups repeated on Tuesday a march and maintained the known blockade of the thousand corners.
They are demanding respect for labor stability and union privileges, as well as the end to harassment in the workplace.
Early in the morning, the march left from the vicinity of the old Central Station and traveled along Montes Avenue towards the vicinity of the Mayor’s Office with signs that read, “Arias liar,”, “Put an end to harassment and violence at work,” among other accusatory texts.
