In its second edition, the event will be dedicated to the 63rd anniversary of the “Organización de Pioneros José Martí” and the 64th anniversary of the revolutionary triumph against mercenary forces at the service of the U.S. government at Playa Girón (Bay of Pigs).
This initiative designed for the enjoyment of children and adolescents during the school break week will be developed in parallel in all provinces of the country on the same dates, as explained to Prensa Latina by Martha Ivis Sanchez, vice president of the Organizing Committee.
Another distinctive element is its social scope; it will not be limited only to the main venue or the established sub-venues, but we will be visiting other places that are spaces par excellence where children’s games and attractions are born, Sanchez added.
The general program includes cultural, didactic, educational and commercial activities such as concerts, musicals, literary, dance, and theatrical presentations, visits to museums, plastic arts workshops, knowledge contests and children’s fashion shows, to promote the rescue of recreational traditions.
