Now, on Earth, without space no problem can be effectively solved. The increase in defense capacity, new modern materials, medicines, logistics, movement, Putin said, as published this Friday on the Kremlin’s official website.
The Russian leader warned that “money is never enough”, but in Russia there is considerable progress in the space sphere. He recalled that the day before, Russia successfully launched the Angara-A5 heavy rocket from the Vostochny cosmodrome, located in the Amur province, in the east of the country.
With the help of this rocket we will later get everything necessary to create a Russian orbital station, the president stressed.
Previously, three launches of a light Angará rocket were completed (the first in July 2014) and another three of a heavy Angará rocket. They all took off from the Plesetsk cosmodrome, in the province of Archangel, located in the north of European Russia.
The Angará series rockets use ecological fuel based on kerosene and oxygen. The range includes the light Angara-1.2, medium Angara-A3, heavy Angara-A5 (with the modernized version A5M) and super-heavy Angara-A5V rockets.
