Most Russians approve of their president’s work, according to survey

Moscow, Apr 12 (Prensa Latina) The majority of Russians positively evaluate the work of the country's president, Vladimir Putin, according to the results of a survey carried out by the Public Opinion Foundation.

The survey was released this Friday by the TASS news agency, and showed that 82 percent of respondents approve of the president’s work, compared to eight percent who have the opposite opinion.

Moreover, 82 percent of Russians trust the nation’s leader, while 10 percent expressed their distrust in the president.

Regarding the work of the Government, 60 percent of respondents believe that it is being done well, compared to 22 who believe the opposite.

The survey was carried out from April 5th to 7th and covered 1,500 people of legal age. The margin of statistical error does not exceed 3.6 percent.
