Camagüey, Cuba, Apr 11 (Prensa Latina) Cuba’s Public Health System also has on Thursday the support of artists, especially by the members of the Golpe a Golpe project in this territory who make voluntary blood donations every year.

Most of them are members of the Hermanos Saiz Association, and their members spare no effort not only to bring art to the most remote corners of the country’s largest province, but also “do not hesitate to save lives,” Yunielkis Naranjo, head of the socio-cultural project referred.

On this time, as she commented to Prensa Latina, “the donations greet in April the anniversary of the Union de Jovenes Comunistas (UJC) and also May 1st.”

The head added that “every four months, the project makes massive blood donations, and we take advantage of dates such as the birth anniversary of our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, the Triumph of the Revolution, in April, August and December.”

Naranjo, who is also in charge of the Provincial Center of Book and Literature, the significance of Golpe a Golpe project is manifested “in the visit to rural communities of difficult access, communities in transformation, and every time we get to a place like this, we also see the humanity of our artists.”
