It is the first time a plenary session is being held in this province. The event will take place in the afternoon, and the people are attending parades and student activities.

The legislators held a session in San Carlos on March 7 as part of International Women’s Day celebrations.

Since last year, the legislators have adopted holding sessions in different regions of the country, coming to Turrialba, Nicoya, and Limón on the occasion of historical dates.

The Battle of Rivas occurred on April 11, 1856. It is the most significant of the first phase of the National Campaign, a matter very important to Costa Rica’s national identity.
