The travel industry’s forum will take place from May 1 to 5 in that tourist destination in the central-northern province of Ciego de Avila.
Granma newspaper noted that such a place is highly appropriate for the aforementioned meeting.
The destination exhibits a renewed graphic identity for the Fair, which aims to perpetuate the brand and gain visibility, a further colorful scenario and more visual forcefulness, which goes beyond sun and beach tourism, the publication pointed out.
In over three decades, the resort shows an image that is the result of successive maintenance actions to have a modern place, which is constantly rethinking and adapting to the changing context.
The signs tend to the simple, the natural, with dynamism and a characteristic color, without the lavishness, liveliness and brightness characteristic of large urban or city tourist destinations, the director of the Servicios Comunales provincial company, Luis Alberto Perez Olivarez noted.
He said that new identification signs were placed on the Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo and Paredon Grande, in addition to the revival of the wooden signs that guide visitors to hotel, extra-hotel and tourism support facilities.
The completion of the promenade of love, the landscaping of the Cayo Coco roundabout, the photo booth and the billboard are part of this renovation, they explained.
Along with those works, the local representations of the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) and the Gaviota Tourism Group are taking maintenance actions to ensure beauty, comfort and quality of services in hotel and non-hotel facilities.
FitCuba 2024 is an excellent opportunity for tourism development in that destination, which has 24,000 rooms, and the improvement of the offers as a complement to the sun and beach modality, fundamentally, nautical activities.
