The PCI denounced in a letter signed by Secretary General D. Raja the use by the United States of its embassy in Havana to instigate and organize counterrevolutionary actions in Cuba taking advantage of the context of the energy and food crisis that the Cuban people are going through.

The Indian organization pointed out that due to the US blockade, Cuba faces economic difficulties that prevent it from meeting the essential needs of its inhabitants. Trying to take advantage of this panorama, the United States and its embassy try to provoke protests and revolts against the Cuban government.

The PCI also expressed its confidence and security in the strength of the Communist Party of Cuba, as well as its government, to overcome obstacles, protect the Cuban people from all types of conspiracies, and defend and further strengthen Cuba’s revolutionary cause.

The Indian organization also ratified its unbreakable solidarity with the people of Cuba and assured that even when the election process is underway, it will mobilize the people of India in defense of the Cubans and against all imperialist plots.

It also stated that it would demand the immediate lifting of the inhumane blockade and the elimination of Cuba from the United States list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism.
