This tourist fair, which will be held in Jardines del Rey from May 1 to 5, has already attracted the attention of tour operators and travel agents from all the Caribbean region and the world, who are interested in appreciating the industry’s progress in the country and its link with the remaining areas and nations interested in being present
Authorities from the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) informed that more than 500 foreigners and 80 journalists from all continents and markets interested in learning about this sector in Cuba, whose figure usually increases to 1,000, are expected to participate.
The Fair will be held at the Gran Marena Cayo Coco Hotel and will exhibit the management, business, and opportunities that the sector’s professionals can find here.
Under the promotional campaign “Cuba is Unique,” the tourist potentialities in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Russia will be on display, so the meeting will pay special attention to these regions without excluding priority markets such as Europe.
Representatives of airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, carriers, suppliers, and other experts will participate, in addition to a group of national and foreign journalists specialized in the subject.
Cuba has laid the foundations to establish social tourism since the early second half of the 20th century.
