Dar and Blinken also reviewed issues of regional importance such as Israel’s massacre of Palestinians, insecurity in the Red Sea after the start of Tel Aviv’s current siege of Gaza and events in Afghanistan.

In addition to vowing to increase cooperation in sectors such as energy, climate change, agriculture, health and education, Biden emphasized the importance of the long-standing relationship between the two countries and promised support to address global and regional challenges.
