The information was disclosed amid other announcements by the Colombian Foreign Ministry about the agenda to be fulfilled by acting Foreign Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo.
According to the report, in order to strengthen and deepen the harmonious relationship with neighboring countries, with which Colombia shares land borders, Murillo will meet with his counterparts from several Latin American countries.
The press release informed that the head of Colombian diplomacy will travel to Panama to meet with Foreign Minister Janaina Tewaney Mencomo in order to address issues of the bilateral relationship such as cooperation on migration and the progress of bilateral mechanisms on this matter.
Next Monday, Murillo will meet with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil to discuss border and other related issues between the two nations, in the Colombian city of Cúcuta, some 570 kilometers north of this capital.
