The online registration period is open and the central theme of the event is “Reglobalization: better trade for a better world,” reported the organization, which hopes to hold the sessions from September 10 to 13 at the WTO headquarters in Geneva.
According to the call, the event will also examine the role of digitalization, services and sustainability in achieving the stated objective, so those interested in participating must complete the online registration form no later than August 23, 2024.
The Public Forum, the text notes, is the WTO’s largest outreach event, providing a unique platform for interested parties to debate the latest developments in global trade and propose ways to improve the multilateral trading system.
Each year, the initiative attracts more than two thousand representatives of civil society, academia, companies, governments, international organizations and the media.
