The day before, several relatives of the 69 Bolivian passengers who were on the ship MSC Armonia docked at the port of Barcelona, considered it “an injustice that they are locked up, they are the victims”, explaining that they were swindled.
In any case, this Thursday the group disembarked in a transit area of the port where the refusal to enter Spanish territory was ratified.
Then, the deportation procedures were initiated, allowing the cruise ship to continue its journey, after being detained with 1,500 passengers on board.
An agreement between the Delegation of the Spanish Government in Catalonia, in coordination with the Spanish Police, and MSC Cruceros, facilitated the landing of the 69 Bolivians who were travelling with a false visa on a cruise ship from Brazil.
