The PP head of Public and International Relations, Adisu Arega, and the secretary of the Ningxia Regional Committee of the CPC, Liang Yanshun, agreed in Beijing on Tuesday to take bilateral ties to a higher level and take practical actions through training and sharing experiences.
They agreed to increase the flow of investment in infrastructure construction and national economic capacity in investment areas, as well as in other sectors such as construction, mining, agriculture, and information and communication technologies.
Likewise, strengthening the relationship established between the Chinese autonomous province of Ningxia and the Ethiopian region of Oromia is a main goal.
Arega and Yanshun noted the need to establish links between the institutions of the two political groups to develop the capacity of members and leaders, in addition to the numerous new opportunities to be available, as well as improving cultural familiarity.
Regarding culture, tourism and social spheres, both parties agreed to work together with the province of Ningxia, considered one of the cradles of Chinese civilization, and Ethiopia, the place where humanity was born and with a long history.
In this regard, political parties will collaborate in education, community building and cultural exchanges among young people, in addition to taking advantage of the tourism potential of Addis Ababa and Ningxia.
A high-level PP delegation, headed by Arega, arrived in China on March 29 to solidify relations between the political groups.
