The lawyer asserted that if he triumphs in the general elections of next May, three months later, he would present to the citizens a text drafted by the Executive which could be submitted to a referendum.

“We must reach the maximum possible consensus to re-found the State through a new text. Then we will have to summon the unions, the business sector, the churches, and all the political parties. Every social expression that is organized must have a space in the debate of the reforms”, he indicated to the newspaper La Estrella de Panamá.

Regarding unemployment, based on the last survey it was 7.0 percent in August 2023, he affirmed that it is important to unblock the bureaucracy that prevents economic growth.

He also affirmed that he is in favor of changing the law of multinational companies, having the Panama Canal, the Tocumen airport, and the free trade agreements, to find imports of products that are assembled in Panama to give origin and re-export them through the ports.

Arrocha advanced his government policies on education and asserted that a complete change of the whole administrative institution is necessary.
