We reject the attack on the diplomatic headquarters. Israel added another act to its recent violations of international law, the entity’s statement indicates.
According to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, seven people, including two generals, lost their lives in the attack on their diplomatic mission in Damascus. Tehran’s Ambassador in that capital Hussein Akbari said Tel Aviv attacked the building with six missiles launched from F-35 warplanes, adding that his country would respond “quickly, directly and forcefully.”
Meanwhile, the Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal al-Mikdad, who was on location, expressed his strong condemnation of what he described as a terrorist attack.
Syria will continue to support Iran. This aggression by Israel is a sign of its unfortunate failure in its war against the Palestinian people in Gaza, the FM stated according to the TRT corporation.
