“Despite a complex international situation, Russia and Belarus have developed multifaceted relations and strengthened the institutions of the Union State,” Putin stressed in a congratulatory message to his Belarusian counterpart Alexandr Lukashenko, released by the Kremlin press office.
In the congratulatory message on the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus on April 2, Putin noted, “The coordination of efforts in foreign policy, defense, and security is yielding good results.”
